Charred Habanero Salsa Whenever we cater, we always get a few requests for a really good HOT salsa. This recipe fits the bill. It's easy, tasty, and really hot. 6 each Roma tomatoes - cut in half 6 Tbsp olive oil 4 cloves garlic - peeled and crushed 10 each Habanero peppers 1 each onion, red - chopped 2 Tbsp. cilantro 3 each fresh limes pinch salt pinch black pepper Heat the oven to 475 degrees F. Put the tomatoes cut side up on a baking sheet and drizzle with 1 Tbsp of oil each. Sprinkle with some garlic, salt, and pepper. Roast for about 15 minutes until they begin to char. Meanwhile, roast the habaneros until they are blistered. When cool, chop. Dice the tomatoes and mix with all the other ingredients, and season to taste. Yummmmm!
