Salsa of the Month In honor of St. Patrick's Day, SALSA VERDE. 1 - can (11 ounce) Tomatillo, drained 1/2 - cup white onion, diced 2 - garlic cloves, minced 2 or 3 New Mexico chiles, minced with seeds 1/4 - cup cilantro, chopped 2 - tablespoon sugar 1/2 - teaspoon salt In a bowl, combine the Tomatillo, garlic, chiles, cilantro, sugar, and salt. Cover with plastic wrap in place in refrigerator 1 hour to blend flavor. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving
